Buzz and Bumble Scrapbook Club - 2nd layout

So yesterday I shared the first layout of the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go kit.  This is the second layout.

There is a lot of stamping on these pages - which I love.  Stamps are so great for customizing layouts.  Notice the flowers at the bottom of each base page.  Also, there is a border along the orange cardstock strip.  Simply stamp with the same color of ink that matches your cardstock and you have customized patterned paper.

Again the dogwood flower was stamped with Cocoa Pigment Ink on Colonial White cardstock and colored them with our Sorbet and Creme Brulee Alcohol Markers.

I think my favorite stamp is the "Seeds packet".  Just add some color with Alcohol Markers - oh and stamp it on the newsprint patterned paper piece from the Buzz & Bumble kit.

Buzz and Bumble Scrapbook Club

The new Spring/Summer Idea Book is here and the new Workshop on the Go kits are great.   I think my favorite is Buzz & Bumble.  I absolutely love both of the layouts and the stamp set.

I have to be honest.  When I first saw the Buzz & Bumble paper I was not impressed (a paper with bees all of over it - really).  But when I saw the paper used on the 2 layouts for the Workshops on the Go I changed my mind.

Just look at those dogwood flowers - they look so real.  I stamped both of them with Cocoa Pigment Ink on Colonial White cardstock and colored them with our Sorbet and Creme Brulee Alcohol Markers. I just love these markers. They make coloring fun and so easy to blend for the perfect shading effect.

This Workshop on the Go Kit comes with the Buzz & Bumble Assortment: adhesive backed faux wax seals (love these), wooden flowers & bees.

The kit also includes a pack of the Brown & Tan Sparkles Assortment.  Who doesn't love bling!

I'll try to scan the stamp set so that I can share a picture of that as well.  You can also see it on Page 29 of the Spring/Summer Idea Book.

Avonlea Scrapbooking Club Pages 3&4

Here are the other 2 pages that we created this month using the Avonlea collection.

This is the additional page that you can create with the Workshop On The Go kit. This kit is only available until February 28, so get yours before it's gone.

The kit includes the Parlor Velvet rub-ons and the Opaques Mocha Adhesive Gems.

I added the Avonlea Complements Canvas Shapes to the pages. They already have adhesive and coordinate perfectly with the papers. The word "Remember" is actually a khaki color, but I inked it with a sponge and Olive ink to make it stand out on my page. Simply leave the sticker on the carrier sheet and sponge. It's that easy.

I also added the Brocade Assortment to my pages. It comes with adhesive baked metals keys and cameos that add a nice texture to the pages.
Remember the Avonlea Workshop on the Go kit is only available until February 28, 2013 so get yours today. Start shopping here.

Avonlea Scrapbooking Pages 1&2

So I know it doesn't look like it, but I really am trying to post more regularly.  I don't have any excuses, I'm just struggling with working it into my schedule.  Since I haven't posted regularly I missed posting the info about February's Scrapbook Club.

So this month, we are using the Avonlea collection to create some beautiful heritage pages.  I plan to put pictures of my grandmother and myself on these first 2 pages.

This is the page created with the Workshop On The Go kit.  This kit is only available until February 28, so get yours before it's gone.
